Over the years I have worked to enact judicial reform in West Virginia. We need a system that enables citizens and their attorneys to participate in an environment that everyone believes is fair. It is essential that everyone that participates in the judicial process has confidence that the law is followed in the verdicts handed down and in the settlements reached. We must maintain a balance between the interested parties.
We’ve come a long way since the days when our state was considered a “judicial hellhole” but we still have a ways to go. I am grateful for the support I’ve received to continue this fight.
